Anne Frank 2014

In February 2014, St Sampson’s High was loaned an exhibition on Anne Frank by the Anne Frank Trust in Scotland.  26 students took part in training with Miss Tostevin.  They then worked together in groups to practice giving tours.  After only 2 days of training (and many of the students doing preparation at home!), the guides went on to deliver over 20 tours in the space of only 3 weeks. Tours were delivered to all of the year 7 and 8 English classes, to a year 9 history class, five classes from Le Murier, a group from the Grammar School, three year 6 groups from Haute Capelles and a group who visited from a nearby retirement home.  One group also delivered a half hour tour to members of the Education Board (well done Becksley, Ewan, Greg and Tom!).  Photos from the Anne Frank exhibition are pictured below:
